A physically weak contestant, Kim was not expected to dominate the immunity challenges. However, once she reached the Final Four with Ethan, Lex, and Tom, she shocked everyone by winning every remaining immunity challenge and forcing Tom and then Lex out of the game. As the winner of the final immunity challenge she chose to keep the popular Ethan and vote out the less-liked Lex because she believed she would lose to either Ethan or Lex in the Final Two and she wanted Ethan to win. Ethan did defeat Kim 5-2, receiving the votes of Tom, Lex, Teresa, Kelly Goldsmith and Frank Garrison. Kim received the votes of Brandon Quinton and Kim Powers.
