McLagan grew up in Malaysia, on her family's rubber plantation. When her family moved back to London, she began her modelling career, and changed her name to Kim Kerrigan to avoid confusion with fellow model Pattie Boyd, who married George Harrison of the Beatles. She met Keith Moon, drummer with The Who at a concert in Bournemouth and married in March 1966. Their daughter Amanda Jane (Mandy) was born four months later. Over the course of their marriage, she claimed, Moon often beat her violently, once breaking her nose, chased her around their home with a shotgun and forced her to end her modelling career.[1] She left him in 1973 and the couple were divorced in 1975. She married her second husband, Ian McLagan of The Faces, on October 9, 1978,[2] the year that Moon died. London (pronounced ) is the capital city of England and of the United Kingdom. ...
