Trivia - The Linnets hold a surprisingly good record for a non-league side. They have the best record of any team ever in the FA Cup. In terms of games played against games won, King's Lynn have won the most games. They also sit in seventh in the all time goals scored, just three goals behind Manchester United.
- During the draw for the first round of the 2006/2007 FA Cup, Trevor Brooking appeared to read out King's Lynn twice. It was only when all matches had been drawn that he realised his error and had misread one of the numbers called.
- Just days before the FA Cup first round tie against Bishop's Stortford, manager, and former cup winner, Tommy Taylor accepted a job at Peterborough United as first team coach. A caretaking duo of former Norwich City veretan Shaun Carey and experienced right back Dean West took control. Keith Webb made a switch from Norwich City reserve team manager, in order to fill the vacant position.
