In 2006, Gene Simmons, a member of a rock band by the name of KISS decided to hold a program called Rock School. That show was held mostly at Kirkley High school. Several students were chosen, and were taught how to play rock music. Eventually, they went on tour and played infront of 20,000 American rock fans, opening for Anthrax. "Lil' Chris", a member of the band has gone solo and is soon releasing an album, whereas the female band members have formed their own band known as the Upraw. Gene Simmons (born Chaim Witz on August 25, 1949 in Haifa, Israel) is the performer and entertainment mogul best known as The Demon, his blood-spitting, fire-breathing, tongue-wagging personality in the rock band KISS.
