In 2006, Gene Simmons, a member of a rock band by the name of KISS decided to hold a program called Rock School. That show was held mostly at Kirkley High school. Several students were chosen, and were taught how to play rock music. Eventually, they went on tour and played infront of 20,000 American rock fans, opening for Anthrax.
