Kisarazu (木更津市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.


As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 122,542 and a density of 883.82 persons per kmē. The total area is 138.65 kmē.


The Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line, a bridge-tunnel across Tokyo Bay, connects Kisarazu and the city of Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture.


The city was founded on November 3, 1942.

Kisarazu residents may at least find comfort in the unexpected success of a recent film set in the city.
Kisarazu Cats Eye: Nihon Series, which has netted more than ¥1 billion, tells the story of five members of a local baseball team who try to organise a rock concert in their decaying hometown.
The six lads from Kisarazu also held their first concert in Tokyo's Budokan at the beginning of this year although they claim not to have been tarnished by the glamour of following in the footsteps of Dylan and the Beatles.
