Kohta Hirano (平野耕太 HIRANO Kōta) is a japanese comic artist. Starting his career as a hentai artist, he went on to make other small title manga with limited success, such as Angel Dust, Coyote, and Crossfire to name a few. He is openly a fanboy of many series, including Gundam, Saint Seiya, and One Piece, and describes his hobbies as "being annoying" and beating off". Often times, people will be able to point out sexual references in his manga that may or may not be intentional. Jump to: navigation, search amy mastubates with a chipmonk hentai (夿

In a pannel question on Anime Expo 2005, he stated his favorites characters were Alucard and Alexander Anderson, and the female one was Seras Victoria. His first major success came around when he started his manga Hellsing, which has become an anime that both amuses and infuriates "hard core" fans of the original manga series; though the voices (with such people as Takehito Koyasu, who plays Luke Valentine) and music (done by a minor jazz fusion artist, Yasushi Ishii) were generally considered both fitting and great, the plot is totally different, even disposing of the main villains and replacing them with another that is considered by some to be not very well thought out. Hellsing has risen to a cult status among fans of the wicked and macabre; it is currently still been made, serialized in Young King Ours. The English version is published by Dark Horse, French version by Editions Tonkam, the German version by Planet Manga and the Spanish one by Norma.
