Krizalid (クリザリッド Kurizariddo?) is a video game character in the King of Fighters series. He is the boss and mid-boss of The King of fighters 99'. Krizalid is an extremely powerful fighter sporting an inevitable anti-air move, high-gauge projectiles and dash attacks that are somewhat inescapable. Krizalid's Mid-Boss form isn't as powerful as his End-Boss self. Krizalid, like K', also has the ability to use flames, and some people consider Krizalid as the second clone of Kyo Kusanagi. Like most SNK Bosses, Krizalid is ridiculously strong, and inflicts above average damage, but suffers from having a poor quality AI if the player finds a "boring pattern" to take down Krizalid. History

Krizalid was designed to be the Ultimate Kyo Kusanagi clone, infused with his DNA, and outfitted with a special suit to feed data into his body for battle. This was achieved by cloning K' (rather than Kyo Kusanagi directly): As a side effect, he gained some memories of K' (the prototype prior to his creation) and believed Whip to be his sister. Mad with power, his surperiors in the NESTS cartel ordered him to activate the thousands of Kyo Kusanagi clones around the world. However, during this time period, Whip leaves him, troubled by his thoughts of megalomania. In order to gather the battle data necessary for the activation period, Krizalid quickly decided to turn on his two subordinates K' and Maxima, along with their team members in an underground sewer. With the power of his battle suit and advanced fire techniques he quickly gained the upper hand, but an offensive attack by K' and Maxima left him stunned long enough to be defeated by a fireball from Kyo Kusanagi. Disappointed at his failure, his superior, Clone Zero neutralizes the Kyo clones and kills Krizalid by throwing a boulder to crush him. As he lies dying, Whip and the other Ikari Warriors emerge. She tells him that the memories of her being his sister were fake, and that NESTS had lied to him throughout the tournament. Their commander, Heidern then inquires Krizalid if he remembers his real name. He simply cannot remember, and dies shortly after. Two years later, he would find himself revived by the Original Zero, possibly to rectify the mistakes of his clone. Krizalid pledged his loyalty to the Original Zero, and fought alongside Zero and Ron in the King of Fighters 2001 tournament. His fate after the destruction of Zero's ship and the NESTS Cartel's orbital base is unknown, but he has not been seen since in another King of Fighters game. Krizalid isn't that much of a problem for me if i am using ralf, clark, Iori or Maxima.First time was hard though when i faced him as i dont know what to expect.But after that, he is much easier to beat.He is not as tough to beat as 94/95 rugal, Igniz or even Goenitz.
Krizalid isn't even in the same class of difficulty as any of the Rugal Incarnations...Even his CVS2 version of God Rugal is hard than Krizalid.
Theres also the universal tactic to beat Krizalid easily with anybody...simply knock him down once, then as he is about to get up, do an early running super jump OVER him so that you land behind him when he stands up - he'll 99% of the time do his Uppercut move idiotically.
