Lanškroun is a town and municipality in the Czech Republic, on the border between former provinces of Bohemia and Moravia. Population: around 10,000 (2003).
The town was founded in the 13th century as the center of the estate of Lanškroun and Lanšperk. In historical documents, it is sometimes called Lanskron, Landskron, Landeskrone, or Kronland (its German name).
