| Koropi (Greek, Modern: Κορωπί, Ancient/Katharevousa: -on), is a suburb in the eastern part of Athens, Greece. The Hymettus mountain is to the west. The nearest Attiko Metro subway station is at Eleftherios Venizelos. It serves access with the Attiki Odos (numbers 6), the main section was served to its east but by March 2004, it now has its own interchange with the Hymettus Ring with Lavriou Avenue. The Attiki Odos runs to the northeast and east while the Hymettus rung runs slightly south of the centre. A tunnel is to its northwest. It is located SE of GR-1/E75 (Athens - Lamia - Thessaloniki), E and SE of Kifissia Avenue, SW of Rafina, NW of Sounio, 6 km W Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport and about 20 km E of downtown Athens.
