Kryoneri (Greek, Modern: Κρυονέρι, Ancient/Katharevousa -on, meaning "cold water" in Modern Greek) is a community of the Greek prefecture of Attica., it is also a rather exclusive suburb of Athens. Malakasa is linked with a road linking Agios Stefanos and Varybombi and has an interchange with GR-1/E75 to the east. Malakasa is also linked with GR-79 (Malakasa - Nea Palatia) and roads to Agios Merkourios and Markopoulo Oropou. The area around Kryoneri has farmlands the central and the southern parts and mountains further north.
