The Institute of Resource Development and Analysis at KumamotoUniversity signed interoffice exchange agreements with The Jackson Laboratory (located in the U.S.), the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Center, the Chinese Academy of Science, and the Guangdong Medical Laboratory Animal Center in October 2004.
KumamotoUniversity intends to mainly conduct academic exchanges with these institutions in the coming years, and it is hoped that further progress will be made in international academic partnerships.
