Kumla is a Municipality, in Örebro County, in central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 205.9 km². Of the total population of 18983, 9415 are male, and 9568 are female. The population density of the community is 92 inhabitants per km². Today Kumla is mostly known for its prison, which once was the largest prison in the country.
