Kunisaki High School has slowly gained a reputation for its excellence in English instruction, and has recently been host to a series of internation film screenings, featuring such works as Pirates of the Caribbean, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Edward Scissorhands. Kunsaki Technical and Agricultural High lags slightly behind its crosstown cousin with respect to English accomplishment, a fact somewhat ameliorated by its production of delicious kiwis and strawberry jam. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the best-known attractions at Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris theme parks. ... Kunisaki is home to a branch of well known Kyushu restaurant chain Joyfull, as well as three convenience stores. Several notable local motorcycle enthusiasts can occaisionally be found in front of the Coco Store on the 213 Highway in the early evening. They respond well to friendly greetings. Located nearby is Kunisaki's video rental shop, of whose floorspace 65% is devoted to adult-themed entertainments of various flavors.


Kunisaki warmly welcomes foreign visitors.

Oita Prefecture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (753 words)
Oita Prefecture is located on the north-eastern coast of the island of Kyushu.
On October 1, 2005, the city of Kitsuki and the village of Ota from Nishikunisaki District and the town of Yamaga from Hayami District merged to form the city of Kitsuki.
On March 31, 2006 the towns of Aki, Kunimi, Kunisaki and Musashi from Higashikunisaki District merged to form the new city of Kunisaki.
