Kusatsu (草津町; -machi) is a town located in Agatsuma District, Gunma, Japan.


As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 7,669 and a density of 154.18 persons per kmē. The total area is 49.74 kmē.


Hot Springs

Kusatsu is extremely famous all around Japan for having wonderful hot springs. The water is believed to be able to cure skin aliements, and smells highly of sulfur.
