Kuurne is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality only comprises the town of Kuurne proper. On January 1st, 2004 Kuurne had a total population of 12,584 (6,230 males and 6,354 females). The total area is 10.01 kmē which gives a population density of 1257.36 inhabitants per kmē.
