Kwun Tong (Chinese: 觀塘, Jyutping: gwun1 tong4, Pinyin: Guāntáng) is a station on the MTR Kwun Tong Line in Hong Kong. The station is above ground, unlike almost every other station in the system. Kwun Tong is the most densely populated statoid in the world, with 564,700 living in 11 square kilometres with a density of 51,336 people per square kilometre.
Kwun Tong is situated at the eastern part of the Kowloon Peninsula, and its boundary stretches from Lion Rock in the north to Lei Yue Mun in the south, and from the winding paths of Kowloon Peak in the east to the north coast of the Airport (Kai Tak) runway in the west.
Kwun Tong Pier used to be a major transport hub for cross-harbour passengers until the opening of the MTR and the Eastern Cross Harbour Tunnel.

The Kwun Tong Line was extended across the harbour to Quarry Bay, which became an interchange station for the Kwun Tong Line and the Island Line.
The MTR system in general is disabled-friendly — the trains have dedicated wheelchair space, the stations have special floor tiles to guide the blind safely on the platforms, and there are extra wide entry/exit gates for wheelchairs to pass through.
