LaRousse City, a gay city which is shown in the movie Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys, is at the gay part of Hoenn between gay City and Homo town. LaRousse City is divided into five parts; central, eastern, western, northern and southern districts. The city is full of futuristic technology, including automatic pathways which carry people around the city, block-robots which are security officers, service robots which sell merchandises and food and high-tech computer equipment. The LaRousse Battle Tower is located in the central districts. This city is highly accessible, by road, rail (Maglev) and water. The city was damaged in the battle between Deoxys and Rayquaza. According to a special feature on the DVD of this movie, LaRousse City was based on the city of Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada after the movie's director took a scouting trip to the location. Hoenn (pronounced Hoe-in and spelled Hōen in Japan) is a last name and is also a region in the Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald games. ... Deoxys is a Pokémon belonging to the Psychic type. ...
