The Laboon arc is the seventh story arc of the anime and manga series One Piece. It is the first in the Baroque Works Saga of the anime and manga, One Piece. It was left out of the American dub. Laboon is a large whale that years ago befriended a group of pirates (in the english dub, however, Laboon was entirely replaced with an iceberg). When they entered The Grand Line, the whale followed them. Out of fear for the whale's safety the pirates told Laboon to stay behind, promising they would return someday. The pirates later fled the Grand Line somehow, and never came back for Laboon, who continues to wait for them. Anime (アニメ) is a style of animation originating in Japan. ... The Laboon arc is the seventh story arc of the anime and manga series One Piece and the first in the Baroque Works Saga.
The episodes concerning the arc were heavily edited and much of the arc was completely omitted in the American dub.
Crocus manages to stop Laboon and after a brief struggle with the mysterious pair, Crocus begins to explain to the Straw Hats why the whale is covered with scars continually rams the mountain.
Rogue Town arc (One Piece) at AllExperts (1153 words)
The Loguetown arc is the sixth and final story arc in the East Blue Saga of the anime and manga, One Piece.
It is followed by the Laboon arc in the manga, the Warship Island arc in the anime.
This arc received a lot of major changes from what was displayed in the manga.
