Laboratory School (TSU-LS or LS) the High School department of Tarlac State University , Tarlac City. It is located at Barangay Binauganan, Tarlac City, Philippines. The difference of Laboratory School to other schools is it has Mathematics-Science oriented curriculum in which a student who is qualified and enrolled in this curriculum shall take up advanced units. For example, a 2nd Year student on a Math-Science curriculum is taking up Geometry, which will only be taken by a 3rd year student from the Revised Basic Education Curriculum. The School Buildings Main Building The school is located at Lucinda Campus, Brngy. Binauganan, Tarlac City. The campus is composed of 10 hectares, and was subsequently called as "Sampu" because 10 in Filipino is sampu. The building was located alongside with College of Education Building, and the newly built College of Nursing building. The main building has 10 classrooms, 1 faculty room, Sub-SSC office, 1 computer room, and 4 CR's(1 for faculty members, 1 for boys, and 2 for girls.) Covered Court It has also a covered court, a center for students who play basketball,and other games. And also the covered court often used for main events in the school such as Mr. and Ms. Laboratory School, Buwan ng Wika, Mathematics and Science Fair, etc.
Audio Visual Room AVR or Amphitheater is the student's place for seminars, career orientations, Film Viewing, reviews, and Holy Mass. It was built with theater-like seats and has upward angle to maintain the student's view on what is they're doing.
Shops Although they are called 'Shops' there is nothing you can buy in those rooms. 5 different rooms includes the PE room, TLE Tool room, and TLE gardening room. The other 2 rooms were recently demolished to make a new study place probably next year.
Canteen and Sewing There is a building for Students who took up Food Lessons and Hand Craft lessons.
Swimming Pool The main objective of the Swimming Pool is to train the students for swimming contests probably one in the University Intramurals.
Transportation LSians often travel with the Licensed School Bus and jeeps. The students are eligible to pay the minimum fair. Some of the students came from far places, they often hire school buses as services every single day.
School Canteen LS' school canteen is not a place for eating. So often students are buying foods from Privately owned establishments located beside and outside the school. Some of these are the famous Atching Kels, Yoin, and lots more.
Yearly Activities
Recent Malatarlak Festival with LSians. LSians excel in Academic quizzes and contests. It has achieved numerous awards from MTAP, Press Conference, Quiz Bees, etc. Zamantha Nadir Martin and Ivy May Daus brought the school into fame as they ranked 2nd and 8th in the 2006 Saint Louis University College Entrance Exam (SLU-CEE) at Baguio City. Official Publication The Laboratory School produces its newspaper, The Work Jr., which is published at least twice every school year, and a Literary Magazine called Prose and Poets and is published at least once every school year. These Publications are usually managed by the seniors of the current batch, and as some of the editorial staff graduate, they will be replaced by a new set of students picked by the newspaper adviser.

First Generation Logo TWj's original logo have light colors. Its blue and white outer circle represents the school's main colors. This style had been used by the earlier students of Laboratory School. Although from time to time, it was slightly modified from its original design.
Second Generation Logo The logo used in the 2006-2007 version of The Work Jr. is inspired by the operating system Windows Vista with the glass orb concept.
