Lafayette has been voted as having one of the top athletic programs in the metro area, receiving a #3 vote last year, and #1 vote in 2004-05. In 2007, boys soccer, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, and volleyball all won the Suburban West Conference. The Lady Lancers took championships home in volleyball, soccer, field hockey, swimming, and lacrosse.
