Lage is a city in the Lippe district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has an area of 76.02 kmē and 36,203 inhabitants (2003).

They used to have a room and their meals in Lage families and so it was a way to earn money for the people of Lage.
The Lage technical college was now made part of the public school of engineering in Lemgo, although the training for architects and constructors took place in Lage.
It was followed by the loss of two other important institutions (the Lage hospital at the end of 1981 and the district-court) and was caused by political decisions.
