Lahmajun (IPA: [lahmaˈdʒun]), sometimes called Turkish pizza or Armenian pizza, is an Anatolian dish usually made up of a round and thin piece of dough topped with various meats (most commonly beef and lamb) and vegetables. Lahmajun is commonly sold on the streets in cities like Gaziantep, Urfa, Istanbul, and also in cities with sizeable Turkish and Armenian communities, such as Berlin, London, Los Angeles and Moscow. Kebab shops which sell the Lamajun can be found throughout places were the Turkish Diaspora exists. Bakeries serving lahmajun can be found in Armenia and Turkey and most areas populated by the Armenian Diaspora.
