Lake Lillian Township is a township located in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 221.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 93.7 km² (36.2 mi²). 92.3 km² (35.6 mi²) of it is land and 1.5 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.58% water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 221 people, 86 households, and 57 families residing in the township. The population density is 2.4/km² (6.2/mi²). There are 95 housing units at an average density of 1.0/km² (2.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.74% White, 0.45% African American, 0.45% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.90% from two or more races. 3.62% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 86 households out of which 31.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.1% are married couples living together, 2.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% are non-families. 27.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 17.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.57 and the average family size is 3.21.
