Aldo Sessano designed an original coupe that was built by Coggiola coachbuilder with financial support of Glasurit upon a 818.740 chassis. The most evident characteristics are the vertical rear glass, the squared lines and a very innovative internal furniture.

Lancia is an Italian automobile manufacturer founded in 1906 by Vincenzo Lancia and which became part of the Fiat group since 1969.
During the 1980s, the company cooperated with Saab Automobile, with the Lancia Delta being sold as the Saab 600 in Sweden.
In the United Kingdom, Lancia increasingly suffered from image problems during the 1980s associated with rust (though in reality, the Lancia Beta truly deserved this reputation, due to Fiat's infamous utilization of inferior Russian steel), and pulled out of the UK market in 1994.
