I found Vigan proper to be very resistent to the gospel, but did succeed in planting a church in the small village of Mabongtot in Abraprovince in 1988.
During these years I led in starting the church in Mabongtot, Langiden, Abra, and in developing an in-service training program, Northern Institue of Christian Education.
During this time I led in establishing 6 new churches: Bangued, Abra; San Fernando, La Union; and La Trinidad, Km.
