Langwarrin's most prominent landscape feature is a large Flora and Fauna reserve (formerly the Langwarrin Military Reserve). The nature reserve has many walking tracks and is an ideal place for quiet recreation activities such as walking, nature study and photography. Another prominent feature, located in the centre of Langwarrin is the picturesque Cruden Farm, home to Dame Elizabeth Murdoch, a long time resident. McLelland Gallery and its surrounding sculpture park is another highlight. Langwarrin is the location of the now-defunct Leisureland Fair amusement park, the largest operating amusement park in Victoria at that time. There is a small lake with the old bridge going over it, this is a not so well-known fishing spot but young kids love to get down to catch eels and redfin.
