After marrying, Lasaraleen apparently moved with her husband to Tashbaan, capital of Calormen. When Aravis flees for Narnia, she must pass through the city and winds up meeting Lasaraleen. Lasaraleen, though unable to understand why she would want to flee for the "barbarian" lands and avoid marrying her incredibly powerful fiance (Aravis' hated mate, Ahoshta, is Grand Vizier), she agrees to help Aravis hide from her father, who is in Tashbaan searching for his daughter. She also helps Aravis escape through the Tisroc's palace, and the two both here the Tisroc, Prince and Vizier plotting an invasion of both Narnia and Archenland before Aravis leaves.
