Latrobe City (formerly La Trobe Shire) is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the eastern part of the state. It includes the towns of Churchill, Moe , Morwell and Traralgon . It has an area of 1,395 square kilometres. In 2001 it had a population of 70,600.
Traralgon , although there are new offices currently being built in Morwell , which is located in the middle of Latrobe City geographically.
