Her first soap gig was the role of younger Rescott sister Allison "Ally" Rescott Alden Bowman on Loving (1991-1995). When that show ended, she reprised her role on spinoff soap The City (1995-1997). After that show was also canceled, she was offered the contract role of Reva's half-sister Cassie Layne Winslow on Guiding Light, which she remained until November 2005.
