Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute is one of the most prestigious acting schools in the world and was founded by pioneer, Lee Strasberg, in 1969. With locations in both New York City and Los Angeles known for the Method acting technique which is taught at the institute. History

In 1948, Strasberg began teaching at the Actors Studio and becomes its Artistic Director. In 1969, he opened the Strasberg Institute in New York and Los Angeles. Today, the Institute is under the direction of Anna Strasberg. [5] They also have a special program with the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University where students can study there in an 8 credit program.
