Leftover Crack, combined with Choking Victim and two other bands, Morning Glory and INDK, share a total of seven members between them. These seven musicians are collectively referred to as the "Crack Rock Steady 7" (CRS7). The line-up of Leftover Crack changes often, drawing on members of other NYC punk bands such as The Stockyard Stoics and The X-Possibles, with Stza and Ezra the only completely permanent members. Alec, also from Choking Victim, is usually a member, and Brad Minus, or Brad Logan from F-Minus has been with the band for a few years. With the passing away of the most recent drummer, Brandon Possible, and with rumors of the band's demise due to drug abuse and addiction, Stza has been seen playing a handful of solo acoustic shows around New York City. Influences and History

Leftover Crack, in addition to the rest of the CRS7, combines elements of ska, hardcore, crust punk, and thrash metal. Choking Victim in particular also referred to itself as squat-core, for its focus on the lives of abandoned tenement squatters in New York City and writing songs about the poor. In fact, several members of Leftover Crack lived in a squat (which often served as a venue) located on 9th and C (as heard in the background of the song "Homeo-Apathy") known as C-Squat. One of the most groundbreaking developments Leftover Crack accomplished was with their song "Gay Rude Boys Unite", which seems to borrow some stylistic elements from Operation Ivy. The song accuses the ska scene of being homophobic. The song called for the inclusion of all minorities in the struggle for social equality, which is especially evident in recent developments in dancehall and reggae culture that seem to have become even more violently anti-gay. Operation Ivy was a ska punk band who originated from the East Bay of San Francisco. ... They have been banned from performing in many venues in New York City, such as ABC No Rio and North 6th; however, they still play there sometimes - just not at venues. ABC No Rio is a social center located at 156 Rivington street in New York Citys Lower East Side that was founded in 1980. ...

The band is currently on an indefinite hiatus, though the singer, Stza, assures fans that the band is not done with. Though the band is very familiar with lineup changes, drummer Brandon Possible's death and other factors have lead to Stza playing Leftover Crack and Choking Victims songs by himself at a few solo acoustic shows. Stza and Brad are now forming a hardcore band expected to be fronted by a female, with a new bassist an drummer. The band is supposed to sound musically like a blend of F-Minus and Leftover Crack.
