Leschi is a neighborhood in east central Seattle, Washington, named after Chief Leschi of the Nisqually tribe. It is bounded on the east by Lake Washington; on the south by Interstate 90, beyond which is Mount Baker; on the west by Martin Luther King, Jr. Way S., beyond which is the Central District; and on the north by E. Cherry Street, beyond which is Madrona.


A cable car ran east along Yesler Way from Pioneer Square to the lake from September 27, 1888, to August 10, 1940.


The neighborhood's main thoroughfares are E. Cherry, E. Alder, and S. Jackson Streets and E. Yesler Way (east- and westbound) and Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. and Lakeside and 31st Avenues S. (north- and southbound). It is home to Leschi and Frink Parks.
