The Lesters is an annual award ceremony for jockeys in the United Kingdom. It was inaugurated in 1990 and the awards are named in honour of Lester Piggott, eleven times British flat racing Champion Jockey and winner of thirty classic races from 1954 to 1992. The ceremony is held in January and recognizes the achievements of jockeys from both flat and jump racing during the previous year.
