Wuemme river (German Wümme) is a river in northern Germany. It is a tributary of the Weser River.


It runs across northern Lower Saxony and the state of Bremen. It has 108 km in length.


The river's source is located on Mount Wilsede in Luneburg heath. West of Rotenburg, it takes up Rodau river and Wiedau river. Its main tributary is Hamme river. The last kilometers of its way Wuemme river changes its name into "Lesum river".
