Migration of the Hungarians

Levedia (hungarian: Levédia) was an area settled by the Magyars in the 9th century. It was located in the territory of present-day eastern Ukraine. They moved to this area from Magna Hungaria situated on the western side of the Urals. From Levedia, the Hungarians moved further to the west, to the area known as Etelköz.
