LewisCounty is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
LewisCounty is named for explorer Meriwether Lewis who died and was buried at Grinder's Stand in 1809.
In the county, the population was spread out with 25.80% under the age of 18, 8.30% from 18 to 24, 27.40% from 25 to 44, 24.80% from 45 to 64, and 13.60% who were 65 years of age or older.
