Li Zhong was one of the 108 Liangshan heroes in the epic Chinese tale, the Water Margin. Nicknamed the 'Tiger-fighting General', Li was the first martial arts instructor of the irrepressible Shi Jin. He was also moonlighting as a street performer and seller of controversial medicines to make ends meet. As sworn brother to yet another irrepressible eventual Liangshan bandit, Lu Zhishen, Li also played a role in preventing a scuffle between Lu and Zhou Tong when the former tried to deliver his own brand of fiery justice to Zhou who had forced a village girl to marry him. Liangshan is a county-level city in Shandong province, China. ...
