Liberalisterne (The Liberals) is a Danish political party founded in 2005 to campaign for a more liberal societal order in Denmark.
The party aims its appeal mainly at voters disappointed by the policy direction of the current centre-right coalition of Venstre, a nominally liberal party, and the Conservative People's Party, which has since its election in 2001 largely carried on the policies of its Social-democratic predecessor. Liberalisterne are currently stuck in a limbo, as the Ministry of the Interior stalled the official approval of the new party and its name.
