Art For Life has a long-standing tradition of taking a courageous stand to support people disenfranchised from mainstream fundraising.
That tradition continues as Art For Life has expanded its scope to again educate the public and provide funds for yet another stigmatized community...
Art For Life is now produced and primarily benefits Project Return, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons experiencing mental illnesses through educational, vocational and supportive housing services, so that they may lead productive and fulfilling lives in the community.
Art While You Wait has also been recognized by the medical staff at it's locations as a valid intervention program. This program is also offered in some of our locations in other waiting areas where there is a need for art prior to a procedure or treatment.
Art for Life's partnership with the Community Service Program (CSP) that opened this location in May of 1992 is a very rewarding one.
Working under the Child Life umbrella as well it also addresses the importance of allowing children to express themselves creatively and achieve what we at Art for Life believe is a way to help heal children on both an emotional and physical level through therapeutic play.
