  • "Spinning Around" was the first single and was released in June 2000. It debuted at number one in Australia and the UK. The single marked Minogue's return to mainstream pop music. The video involved Minogue dancing in a packed nightclub and started the tabloids' obsession with her.
  • "On a Night Like This" was released in September 2000 and debuted at number one on the Australian charts and number two in the UK. The song's release coincided with Minogue's performance at the Sydney Olympic Games where she sang this song. The following week, having already dropped from the top spot, the song returned to number one in Australia.
  • In October 2000, the duet "Kids" with Robbie Williams (UK) was released. The song, written by Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers, reached number two in the UK and number fourteen in Australia. A different version of this song with a spoken fadeout rap by Williams appeared on his album Sing When You're Winning.
  • "Please Stay" was released in December 2000 and reached number ten in the UK and number fifteen in Australia.

  • "Your Disco Needs You" was another song written by Robbie Williams & Guy Chambers for the album. The song became an underground hit when it was released as a single in Germany and Australia. In Australia it was the first of a number of subsequent "limited edition" single releases, with only 10,000 copies pressed. This saw the single debut at number 20, then drop to number 45 before falling out of the chart altogether.
  • The dance track "Butterfly" proved popular on the club scene. After a remix in 2001, the track was issued in the USA where it was a hit on the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart. The same song also appears on the US edition of Kylie's Fever album.
  • The track "So Now Goodbye" was briefly considered for single release but ultimately this did not happen. The popular track contains a sample of Diana Ross' "The Boss".

Light year - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (519 words)
More specifically, a light year is defined as the distance that a photon would travel, in free space and infinitely distant from any gravitational or magnetic fields, in one Julian year (365.25 days of 86 400 seconds each).
The light year is often used to measure distances to stars: a light year is not a unit of time.
Units related to the light year are the light minute and light second, the distance light travels in a vacuum in one minute and one second, respectively.
