Born in Welwyn Garden City, England, Snowdon lives in Epping Forest. She moved to London to attend the Italia Conti School of Performing Arts. Snowdon went to school with friend and supermodel Naomi Campbell, and worked briefly as a waitress. She was spotted by a Premier Model Management agent at age 19 while dancing in a London nightclub. Snowdon began modelling for cover shots with Marie Claire, Vogue etc, which lead to her becoming a full time fashion model. In turn, fashion modelling lead to her becoming a more recognised model and doing fashion campaigns and spreads for Vogue, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. Then Snowdon attracted major attention appearing in an advertisement for Special K cereal. Now she is best known for her commercial and lingerie modelling, and went on to be the "elevator girl" for Lynx deodorant in 2003, and doing advertisements for Mercedes-Benz, Martini, Dove soap, Neutrogena and numerous high-fashion catalogues.
