Lisbon is a census-designated place located in Lake County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 273.

Geography

Lisbon is located at 28°53'7" North, 81°47'14" West (28.885413, -81.787225)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.1 km² (2.0 mi²). 4.9 km² (1.9 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 5.05% water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 273 people, 107 households, and 81 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 56.1/km² (144.9/mi²). There are 147 housing units at an average density of 30.2/km² (78.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 92.31% White, 0.00% African American, 0.73% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 6.96% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 9.89% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 107 households out of which 23.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.8% are married couples living together, 7.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 23.4% are non-families. 19.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.55 and the average family size is 2.84.

In the CDP the population is spread out with 21.2% under the age of 18, 6.2% from 18 to 24, 28.2% from 25 to 44, 24.5% from 45 to 64, and 19.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 111.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 104.8 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP is $22,875, and the median income for a family is $33,984. Males have a median income of $33,281 versus $21,750 for females.
