 | Backed by seven Western universities, PIMS is able to draw on its 300 members in more than 15 departments to achieve a critical mass for workshops like this one that would be impossible for any one institutions to successfully run. |
| Students attending these workshops are exposed to a new paradigm in research, one that involves working on the full spectrum from theoretical to practical all in one problem. |
