ElectionsSaskatchewan has no say in when an election will be called, nor does it have any control over the timing of provincial elections.
You are eligible to vote in Saskatchewan provincial elections as long as you have ordinarily resided in Saskatchewan for at least six months immediately preceding the day the election was called and are otherwise a qualified voter.
Also prohibited on Election Day, prior to the closure of the polls, is the use of a public address system or other loudspeaker device and the organization of or participation in parades or demonstrations for purpose of promoting or securing the election of a candidate.
Saskatchewan is a quadrilateral; however, due to its size, the 49th parallel boundary and the 60th northern border appear curved.
Saskatchewan is bounded on the west by Alberta, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the east by Manitoba, and on the south by the American states of Montana and North Dakota.
Saskatchewan has the same form of government as the other Canadian provinces with a Lieutenant-Governor (who is the representative of the Crown in Right of Saskatchewan), premier, and a unicameral legislature.
