No person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the age of thirty years, and been nine years a citizen of the UnitedStates, and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.
No Senator or Representative shall, during the time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil office under the authority of the UnitedStates, which shall have increased during such time; and no person holding any office under the UnitedStates, shall be a member of either House during his continuance in office.
A person charged in any state with treason, felony, or other crime, who shall flee justice, and be found in another state, shall, on demand of the executive authority of the state from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the state having jurisdiction of the crime.
