World Tag-Team Championship - Facts, Information, and Encyclopedia Reference article (715 words)
At Survivor Series 2001 the WCW World Tag Team Championship was unified into it, when the Dudley Boyz defeated the Hardy Boyz in a steel cage match.
This was not the first time the WCW and WWE (then known as the WWF) Tag Team Championships were held by the same tag team, however, as The Undertaker and Kane held both the WWF and WCW World Tag Team championships after winning the former at SummerSlam 2001, also in a cage match.
After the purchase of WCW by WWE both titles would be at some point held by teams like Undertaker and Kane, Hardy Boyz, and the Dudley Boyz.
WWE Championship - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (821 words)
The WWE Championship, also known as the World Wrestling Entertainment Championship and occasionally as the WWE Championship of the World or WWE Heavyweight Championship, is one of the two top "world championships" contested in World Wrestling Entertainment.
WWE is scheduled to release a three disc DVD set covering the history of the WWE Championship in September 2006.
WWE also had a custom belt designed for The Rock featuring the brama bull logo, but decided against using it over fear that its use, combined with that of the Smoking Skull Belt, would result in the traditional belt being nearly abandoned.
