The bar menu is simple and excellent (the roast potato soup one cold December day was the perfect dish), and the list of premium bourbons, scotches and cognacs is impressive.
And while the bar area is in one of the nicest spaces I know (a stretched-out V of a street-level room with windows everywhere), the place too often smells like some kind of cleanser.
