Bandon, Darth Darth Bandon was a former Jedi and the apprentice of Darth Malak during the time of the Jedi Civil War. He, in fact, filled the position that Malak himself once had under Darth Revan. Bandon wielded a double-bladed lightsaber in combat and wore custom-built armor. He might have eventually defeated and succeeded Malak, in the Sith tradition, had he not met up with Revan in combat. Bandon and his henchmen confronted Revan at the behest of their master, but were defeated by the former Dark Lord and his allies in battle. Revan took Bandon's armor as a memento of the victory. Bandon's death was unmourned, and Malak later replaced him with a far more powerful apprentice: Bastila Shan. Two examples of Jedi, Master Qui-Gon Jinn & his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. ...

Millennial, Darth Darth Millennial is a minor Sith Lord who dates to somewhere between 1000 or 32 years before A New Hope (but more probable an earlier date, as he drew upon the ideas of the Sith Lord Kaan); he was an apprentice to the then Dark Lord, but chafed under Bane's "Rule of Two". Eventually he escaped, and was the one who first brought the Dark side to the planet Dormund Kaas. There he revived Kaan's "Rule by the Strong". His most lasting legacy would be founding the order of the Prophets of the Dark Side and the tainting of Dromund Kaas. His name is probably derived from the word "millennium"; this fits, since some estimates place him at 1000 BBY. Freedon Nadd started his life in the opposite direction, as a Jedi student, trained at the Jedi Temple on Ossus some 4,400 years before the Battle of Yavin. He was amazingly open and willing to touch the Force, which may have inevitably led him down the dark path. Even though so strong in the Force, he failed his first true test, when he was told by the Jedi Masters at Ossus that he would not receive his promotion to become a Jedi Knight. The Ajunta Pall Quest As Revan (the player) reaches Korriban, Revan has to join the Sith Academy to find the Star Map. To do so, Revan has to gain prestige, which can be accomplished by performing several tasks, one of which is retrieving Ajunta Pall's famed blade. Ajunta Pall's tomb, like all other tombs, is inhabited by deadly creatures. After the clearing through them, Revan finds three swords in the tomb, each one having special characteristics. It is here that Ajunta Pall's spirit appears and laments, seemingly on his conversion to the dark side. He wishes to become one with the Force, but can't do so due to the dark side aura of the sword. He urges Revan to take the sword from the tomb, so that he can be one with the Force. The trick is to find which sword is actually Ajunta Pall's sword. Choosing the wrong sword, or mocking him will make him angry and cause him to battle you. Choosing the right sword will allow Revan to pass and Ajunta Pall to become one with the Force. The choosing of the sword is aided by Pall himself, who gives a short description of his sword. The player is offered the choice of whether to turn the former Sith Lord's spirit back to the light. Which choice is canon is unknown. However, the canon alignment for the player is light-side, and if, in Knights of the Old Republic II, the player sets Revan's alignment to light-side, Kreia will remark to the Jedi Exile upon Revan's redemption of Pall's spirit. — Jedi Master Kreia, in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords In the Star Wars universe, Darth Revan is a fallen Jedi and Dark Lord of the Sith. ...

Plagueis, Darth - Main article: Darth Plagueis
Darth Plagueis the Wise was a Sith Lord. However, his apprentice, Darth Sidious, betrayed Plagueis (a common practice among the Sith) and killed him in his sleep, thus becoming the Dark Lord himself. Plagueis is sometimes referred to as "Darth Plagueis the Wise", as he found a way to manipulate midi-chlorians to prevent death and create life. Darth Sidious, who would become the Emperor, was Plagueis's apprentice. Sidious confirmed this in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Like most Sith Lords, his name is a derivatory, in this case, it is derived from the word plague, as his existence meant the plaguerism of mortality's end. Details of his century-long reign are few, although his death marked the end of the high point of the Sith Empire. Immediately following his funeral, a schism erupted between the leaders of the Sith, and further events led to a major war with the Galactic Republic and, because the schism was never healed, ultimately the end of their interstellar empire. In the game Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, five thousand years after Ragnos' death, a cult called the Disciples of Ragnos emerged under the leadership of the Dark Jedi Tavion, and tried to revive him with the Staff of Ragnos. Tavion hoped to use the staff to drain the Force energy that resided on places, such as Byss, Hoth, and Dagobah, with a strong Force residue. Tavion eventually succeeded in gathering the required amount of Force energy, and then traveled to Korriban to resurrect Ragnos. Depending on the player's earlier choice of whether or not to go to the Dark Side, Tavion will resurrect Ragnos' spirit who will possess her and then be defeated by the player, thus sending his spirit back into the statue it came from. The player will then seal his tomb. If the player chooses the Dark Side however, they will still defeat Tavion, but will instead take Ragnos' Staff for themself and then duel against Kyle Katarn, the player's master, before fleeing the planet. As there has not yet been a sequel to Jedi Academy, it is technically unknown which ending is canonical; the general stance from Lucasarts is that the light side ending is the correct one. This cannot be relied on in the particular case, however, since in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Jedi Academy's Dark Side conclusion is much less final. It ends with a Dark Jedi gaining control of Ragnos's staff and a Star Destroyer, as opposed to conquering the galaxy militarily or spiritually. Dark Jedi is the somewhat misleading name given in the Star Wars fictional universe to those beings who are Force-attuned and adept at the dark side of the Force. ...

Rivan built a fortress for himself underneath the planet's surface to hide from the Jedi. Like most Sith, Rivan felt the need to tamper with the force and nature, creating a new strain of oxygen producing plants over a course of one year on Almas, the Kaluthin plant. Rivan spread the new creation across the surface of the world, changing the atmosphere and drawing heat from the core. Rivan was driven from his homeworld by the Jedi during the New Sith Wars, and eventually perished prior to the Battle of Ruusan. Thinking the fortress was not worth the effort, they decided to leave it alone. The planet, though far from its suns, was bathed in radiant light, the phosphorus rich plants responsible. Analysis of the fortress performed shortly after the Battle of Naboo revealed that the dome on the fortress was well over 1,000 years old, indicating that Rivan himself was of a very advanced age at the time of its construction. Ruin, Darth Once a charismatic and intelligent Jedi Master, Darth Ruin, as he came to be called, became one of the most influential Sith Lords in galactic history. A renegade from the beginning, Ruin's career as a Jedi ended with the same event that began his career as the architect of the New Sith Wars: the theft of a Sith Holocron. With the Holocron's dark secrets, Ruin founded a new Sith Order: the Brotherhood of Darkness. Followers flocked to him, and, one thousand years before the Battle of Ruusan, Darth Ruin and his minions declared war on the Galactic Republic and its Jedi protectors. Though Ruin was eventually killed by the self-destructive nature of his own Order, his legacy would survive in the form of one thousand years of bloodshed, and, ultimately, the complete reformation of the Republic, the Jedi, and the Sith themselves. Like most Sith Lords, Darth Ruin's name is a derivatory, in this case, the derivatory is actually just the word ruin, which makes sense, as his "New Sith Order" nearly ruined the Sith's existence. Naga Sadow was a Sith Lord 5000 years BBY. He was the mastermind that led the Great Hyperspace War that attempted to expand the borders of the Sith Empire at the expense of the Old Republic only to oversee the destruction of the Sith by the Republic and the Jedi. Naga Sadow had pure Sith blood, and was a member of a priesthood that practiced Sith magic, drawing from the dark side of the Force. Labeled a criminal by the Old Republic due to his part in the war, he fled to Yavin 4, the moon of a gas giant where he conducted experiments on his Massassi warriors causing them to mutate from red-skinned humanoids into fearsome, savage, hunchbacked predators. Despite this, his Massassi slaves treated him like a god, building huge temples to honour their Sith Lord. His tomb is seen in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox & PC on Korriban, a Sith planet. He was also the master of Freedon Nadd, who became the next Dark Lord of the Sith. Darth Traya is a character from the Star Wars game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Darth Traya is the name that the Force which Kreia took after she was exiled from the Jedi Order and became a Sith Lord, one of the three the title of the game refers to. The Jedi Knight who became Darth Revan was Kreia's padawan. Kreia was consumed by guilt after the Jedi Civil War, wondering if her teachings had led to Revan's fall. She travelled to Malachor V, which she sensed as Revan's last location and, corrupted by the dark side, embraced the secrets of the Sith. The Jedi Exile learns the truth about Kreia when she goes aboard the Ebon Hawk to take a Handmaiden to Telos to a Jedi Academy. Wynn, Uthar Uthar Wynn is the leader of the Sith academy on the planet Korriban. In the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the player meets Uthar and does things that will earn him or her prestige, such as finding an artifact, and thus becoming more likely to make it into the academy as a full Sith. Uthar before becoming master of the academy on Korriban, was apprenticed to the academy's former master Jorak Uln. As is common amongst The Sith, Uthar surpassed his master, drove him into exile and claimed the title of Headmaster for his own. Uthar was a cruel and calculating leader, and was a powerful Sith, who possessed great ability with the Dark Side. During Revan's quest for the Star Maps, Uthar would confront him on Korriban, within the tomb of Naga Sadow as the final part of Revan's Sith training at the Academy. Revan, after accessing the Star Map for his mission from the Jedi Council on Dantooine, and collecting the Sith (Red) Lightsaber, is confronted by Yuthura Ban and Uthar Wynn. Revan sided with Yuthura Ban and both of them fought and killed Uthar. Then, 2 different endings may happen if you are light sided. Since the light sides version is canon, then I will describe it here. It is possible, in the game, to return Yuthura to the side of light by talking to her often and letting her tell you her past. This way, she leaves Korriban and leaves the academy without a teacher. The students then war against each other in a bid for power. They will, of course attack you on sight, but you don't have to fight them all.
