North Dakota has been split by the FCC into two media markets. The western half of the state is in the Bismarck media market, which also includes the television stations in Dickinson, Minot, and Williston. The eastern half of the state is in the Fargo media market, which includes stations in Grand Forks, Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Glendive, Montana is counted by the FCC as a media market unto itself, but generally the television stations in that city repeat the Dickinson stations.
