The new coat of arms of Litija is only an artistic improvement on the previous one: azure an ancient jar (vaška situla) or over which flows a winding river Sava in a bend sinister on which is a man in rafting boat argent.
The flag is vertical triband of blue-white-blue with the attributes from the coat of arms in the middle.
Litija uses since mid-20th century a coat of arms that pictures in a blue field a green vase and a raftsman pushing a white raft over it.
